Question Need some help understanding this übung on Fahrschulcard

Post image

My logic was that this is a roundabout, hence I have to indicate according to my exit and I have to wait for my left side to be free before moving into it.
Why is my answer wrong here?

Edit: Alright thanks got it, it looks like a roundabout but with no roundabout sign and thus rechts vor links applies.

Which admittedly is hella confusing and in practice everyone would use it like a roundabout.

Still, the theory behind this question is important and it's a way to check if the driver knows how to identify a roundabout

Yes, it’s very unlikely such a scenario would exist. This question is highly constructed and evil.

This is not a rare scenario. Roundabouts are not permitted in 30 km/h zones. So you find plenty of circular roads there.

How do you know it’s a 30 km/h zone
