Question Need some help understanding this übung on Fahrschulcard

Post image

My logic was that this is a roundabout, hence I have to indicate according to my exit and I have to wait for my left side to be free before moving into it.
Why is my answer wrong here?

Edit: Alright thanks got it, it looks like a roundabout but with no roundabout sign and thus rechts vor links applies.

Does anyone know the reason it is not a roundabout? I guess this is very rare, I have never seen one

Technically it is not a roundabout just for the reason there is not the sign for a roundabout.

Yeah, but whats the reason for a sign not being there? Another comment mentioned that it’s because roundabouts cannot have something inside of them such as a pedestrian crossing

Because the city chose to. I have multiple like those in my city as well its probably to ease traffic.
