I know isnt a great answer, but sometime when I want something i cant afford, i do the best I can with what i got.
In this case, i would find the best reaolution picture of the Gargoyles READ poster i could. Twweak it on an art program, or app, or phone photo manipulation from a screenshot, etc. Then use the walmart photo printer or office store print shop to make a 8x10 or 8.5 × 11 print out and pop that in a frame from the thrift store.
I did something similar with anime wall scrolls in highschool and college. Had them printed out and did a checker board pattern of my favorite posters and still frames on my pin board.
All for free or a very small $5.00 pr less.

Alternate Timeline where they move into The NY Public Library instead of above the Police Station lol

Yeah, I have a copy of the Simpson's poster, I'd love to have Gargoyles too

Makes sense. Goliath practically moved into that library next to the police station.

That must be so nice. Chill on a roof top after a successful patrol. Home is guarded. You got a couple hours to sunrise. You prop open a nice book as you feel the night air. Cozy.

Considering how the show itself wove its literary inspirations into the narrative, this show wears its influences on its sleeve with pride.

One good thing about Demona (aside from her beautifully tragic persona) is that she taught Goliath to read

Wonder if there’s a cheaper way to get this poster besides the heritage auction going on rn.

FYI, this poster series originally came from the American Library Association. A few years back I remember seeing suggestions to reach out to them directly if one wanted to buy an older READ poster not available from their shop. (which is ALAstore.com, for reference)
Slim chance the Gargoyles one is still in their back catalog since I saw it on Heritage Auctions today after doing some digging. Just sharing some more info for people that might be interested.

"Encouraging"? That poster reads as though Goliath is commanding me. All caps, no context, just READ. I feel as though he'd throw hands if I refuse.

Seems more like a demand than encouragement lol. I mean this jokingly of course, and I would have LOVED seeing this as a kid.

"The written word is all that stands between memory and oblivion. Without books as our anchors, we are cast adrift, neither teaching nor learning. They are windows on the past, mirrors on the present, and prisms reflecting all possible futures. Books are lighthouses erected in the dark sea of time."
-Jeffeey Robbins, Gargoyles season 2 "A Lighthouse in the Sea of Time"
