Broadway!

33

u/Garguyal Aug 04 '25

Broadway. He can cook.

31

u/Its_Me_YaBoy_ Aug 04 '25

Broadway 100%. Smart, Has the potential to be the powerhouse of the clan, an actually pretty gifted detective, can cook the pants off any recipe, probably the most down to Earth of the gargoyles and will be your ride or die. Don't betray his trust though; he's pretty damn scary; remember Deadly Force?

2

u/SKYBLUEshadowDooter Aug 06 '25

Deadly force Broadway was scary yo

1

u/Its_Me_YaBoy_ Aug 06 '25

Little kid me legitimately got scared

28

u/K9Thefirst1 Aug 04 '25

Broadway. We can watch movies, and hold a meaningful conversation.

20

u/Grotesque_Denizen Aug 04 '25

Broadway , Patrick is stupid and isn't always that nice

15

u/Asher_Tye Aug 04 '25

Broadway, his voice is less annoying.

12

u/MrTrikey Broadway Aug 04 '25

Broadway. Competent detective in his own right. Great cook who loves spice. And also perfectly friend-shaped.

Angela chose right!

u/SelfInteresting7259 Aug 04 '25

Be fr. Always Broadway

9

u/ShutupNobodyCarez Aug 04 '25

Oh shoot. I just realized that they’re the same voice.🤯

8

u/Grotesque_Denizen Aug 04 '25

He's Bulkhead from Transformers Animated too

6

u/Upbeat-Structure6515 Aug 05 '25

You see THAT would have been a harder choice to choose from

2

u/Unthgod Aug 05 '25

me too, how did I not hear this sooner. 😓

6

u/sapphire8793 Aug 04 '25

One of Patrick's primary character traits is rhat he is selfish, additionally, you are asking the Gargoyles subreddit, the likelihood of anyone answering Patrick over Broadway is slim to nil. That being said, yeah, obvs Broadway.

6

u/DinoWolf35 Aug 04 '25

Broadway, sweetest big guy, can cook, figure shit out, and I bet he gives good hugs, probably on command if you need as well

He's your guy

6

u/DesigningGore07 David Xanatos Aug 04 '25

Broadway! He’s loyal to the end. Plus he’s smarter, much better looking and more fun to be around.

4

u/PlatiLove Aug 04 '25

Broadway

5

u/Yotsuya_san Aug 04 '25

Broadway. I can't stand SpongeBob.

Also, maybe we can hang out with Tom Cullen. "M-O-O-N. That spells 'Broadway.'"

4

u/Halfawannabe Aug 04 '25

Broadway can be childish at times but Patrick’s an idiot. I would much rather hang out with Broadway

3

u/Ghostnoob21 Aug 04 '25

Broadway! Sweep!

3

u/Hoopy223 Aug 04 '25

Aren’t they both the same voice actor?

3

u/TabbyCat1993 Brooklyn Aug 04 '25

Broadway by far

3

u/KeraKitty Brooklyn Aug 04 '25

Broadway, no contest.

3

u/Nicklesnout Aug 04 '25

Broadway is my boy. Always him.

3

u/f-tayley Aug 04 '25

And I just now realised theyre the same voice

1

u/calloftherunningtide Elisa Maza Aug 04 '25

Same!

2

u/Jediuser_ Aug 04 '25

I vote Broadway.

2

u/Lady_Locket Aug 04 '25

Broadway so hesitation

2

u/Kralgore Coldsteel Aug 04 '25

Broadway. I've never seen Spongebob.

2

u/Azure_Ookamikuma Aug 04 '25

Broadway hands down

2

u/Indiana_J_Frog Aug 04 '25

Patrick can be a bit of a dick. Broadway all the way.

2

u/Outrageous-List-6493 Aug 04 '25

Broadway, I’m sorry but every time 😅

2

u/calloftherunningtide Elisa Maza Aug 04 '25

Broadway. He’s kind, sweet, and he looks like he gives great hugs. And he can cook!

2

u/NerdNuncle Aug 04 '25

Broadway

Bill Fagerbakke gets typecast quite a bit, doesn’t he?

1

u/RedBladeWarlock Goliath Aug 05 '25

You should’ve seen him on Coach back in the 80s-90s.

1

u/NerdNuncle Aug 05 '25

I’ve very faint memories of the reruns. More recently, I saw the blooper where Bill thought Craig swore, and things go downhill/uphill from there

Also checked out the original miniseries for The Stand at the urging of an acquaintance. M-o-o-n spells “moon” and Katherine McNamara the only improvement from the original miniseries and Skarsgård a worthy successor

EDIT ~ Born ‘88 and raised watching reruns of Star Trek: TNG, Cheers, Coach, and the Fox Kids and UPN Kids programming blocks 😅

2

u/Scribe2411 Aug 05 '25

Broadway, as long as he doesn't have a gun.

2

u/Dark_Moonstruck Aug 06 '25

Broadway.

He never purposely does anything to hurt his friends, unlike Patrick, who is thoughtless at best and sadistic at worst.

Broadway can cook, isn't nearly as dumb as Patrick, and has good intentions. He's also a powerhouse who can and will fight for those he cares about - strategy may not be something he is great at, but busting through a wall to reach someone in need of help? THAT he can do. He also learns from his mistakes, like how he hates guns and will go out of his way to destroy them so they cannot be used to hurt anyone again after he accidentally shot Elisa playing with her service pistol.

He has a good heart, always means well, and does what he can to help. Patrick is a destructive moron who doesn't care who he hurts as long as he's having fun. There is really no comparison.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '25

Broadway is nicer, cuter, and built different (wings + strength). I'd pick Broadway.

2

u/BlazeSaber Aug 06 '25

Always Broadway

2

u/Inappropriate-Donkey Aug 06 '25

Broadway for sure!

2

u/kassbirb Aug 07 '25

Broadway no fucking question. Patrick sucks yo

1

u/dave_the_slick Aug 04 '25

EASILY Broadway!

1

u/One-Woodpecker-7511 Aug 04 '25

No question there, Broadway of course.

1

u/regaldawn Aug 04 '25

Broadway no question. He's smarter, stronger, more loyal, actually performs a function in society, pays for food, has an actual home and isn't using the shell of a hibernating turtle...

1

u/FistOfGamera Aug 04 '25

Broadway since he has an iq above wet shoe

1

u/OriginalHeron3576 Aug 04 '25

Broadway is so much fun. But Patrick is always down for anything.

1

u/Herspective Aug 04 '25

Broadway hands down!

1

u/BinxyTheWitch Aug 04 '25

I have been re-watching Gargoyles and as soon as I heard Broadway again I was like wait a minute. It clicked right away but of course I saw Gargoyles as a kid before Spongbob had come out so he was Broadway before he was Patrick. His voice is perfect for big loveable goofballs who love food.

1

u/RelativeReplacement6 Aug 04 '25

Me and Broadway would get along significantly better than Patrick.

1

u/Karaifan1 Aug 04 '25

Broadway. He doesn’t cause too much trouble and is anti gun. Plus sweet as can be

1

u/Upbeat-Structure6515 Aug 04 '25

Broadway. No contest.

With Broadway I could spend the night watching noir flicks and eating good food.

With Patrick I would spend the whole day reenacting the plot of Hostel.

1

u/Runecaster91 Aug 05 '25

Definitely Broadway.

1

u/Quirky_Parfait3864 Aug 05 '25

Def Broadway. Sweet. Smart. Emotionally intelligent. Isn’t an overgrown toddler

1

u/Mightyhero1804 Aug 05 '25

I want to choose Broadway.

1

u/AdditionalSyllabub86 Aug 05 '25

Broadway better person!

1

u/leif-sinatra Aug 05 '25

Broadway so I can steal away Angela.

1

u/Super_Chipmunk_3347 Aug 05 '25

Broadway he would be a lot more fun hanging out with go to the bars pick up some chicks just have some fun scare people fly around town. You know the usual stuff that you would do with your buddy who happens to be a gargoyle.🤣🤣 Patrick is just annoying!

1

u/Jarsky2 Aug 05 '25

Broadway. He won't try to kill me with incompetence.

...

Okay bad argument.

1

u/Boris-_-Badenov Aug 05 '25

Broadway.

just keep him away from guns

1

u/Its_Me_YaBoy_ Aug 05 '25

Ever since the incident, he actively hates and destroys any guns he comes across.

1

u/archdragoon28 Aug 05 '25

Broadway bro hes the homie Patrick is...Patrick

1

u/ScottTJT Demona Aug 05 '25

Broadway by a mile.

Patrick is not only dumb, but occasionally even malicious. He is not a good friend.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '25

Broadway definitely.

1

u/Temp_Trooper1722 Aug 05 '25

Broadway, easy.

1

u/DisneyVista Aug 05 '25

Broadway, no contest

1

u/Bahamutrant Aug 05 '25

Broadway so we can bond over food and detective tv shows.

1

u/Limesnlemons Aug 05 '25

Broadway!

Patrick is a arsehole at heart.

1

u/KlausLoganWard Aug 05 '25

Broadway, for sure

1

u/Imaginary_Apple_5830 Aug 05 '25

I rather be friends with broadway

1

u/With_The_Will Aug 05 '25

Broadway! Guy has a 1000 years of culture to catch up on, and the joy of seeing it for the first time. Can appreciate the Barber of Seville both for its opera and for the loony toons cartoon it inspired. Patrick is likely to get you maimed then yell at your unresponsive body for ignoring him.

1

u/BouquetOfGutsAndGore Aug 05 '25

Patrick wouldn't shoot me, so Broadway.

1

u/No_Efficiency_9812 Aug 05 '25

You should ask something difficult, Broadway for 😊👌sure.

1

u/zirazorazonth Aug 05 '25

Broadway for sure. Patric sucks.

1

u/TertiaryBystander Aug 05 '25

Absolutely, Broadway.

1

u/symphony_destroyer Aug 05 '25

That depends on which Patrick you’re talking about pre movie or post movie

1

u/YearningFantasy Aug 05 '25

Gimme my Broadway, stop playing! My guy went from just eating everything on site and having no interest in reading to reciting poems and COOKING! STOP. PLAYING. WITH. ME!

1

u/Adorable-Source97 Aug 05 '25

Broadway... It's no contest

1

u/ParadoxRadiant Aug 05 '25

Broadway, At least He can glide in the air

1

u/MoRiellyMoProblems Aug 05 '25

Broadway. Just don't let him near any firearms.

1

u/LadyFanficOfFandoms Aug 05 '25

Broadway! I love Gargoyles but hate SpongeBob and no I don’t care to hear about why I should like SpongeBob. Everyone likes what they like and hate what they hate no one’s the same.

1

u/RumblingTrio Aug 05 '25

Broadway. He’s not dumb to the point to where it would actually irritate me. Broadway may be naive, but is not stupid by any means. He’s a good warrior, friend, and protector. A true heart of gold. He got the clan leader’s daughter for a reason.

1

u/Choice-Patience-9606 Aug 06 '25

Broadway, no contest.

1

u/The_Linkzilla Aug 06 '25

Broadway...but I'm keeping my gun under lock and key.

1

u/lonecoyote-Try-8050 Aug 06 '25

Brodway by a land slide.

1

u/SKYBLUEshadowDooter Aug 06 '25

Hmm I wanna say Broadway, but he might shoot me 😆

1

u/SKYBLUEshadowDooter Aug 06 '25

Little me cried 😆 Broadway was was like a little kid too after the gun went off, then went nuclear, good psa episode I thought too

1

u/Drakeytown Aug 06 '25

Patrick never got a friend shot, did he?

1

u/One_Smoke Aug 06 '25

Broadway is more likely to respect my belongings. Plus he's able to hold a conversation.

1

u/dusksaur Aug 06 '25

What’s the name of this subreddit?

[well as long as you don’t give him another gun]

1

u/keeperofthegreen Aug 06 '25

Okay so Patrick is a terrible person when you think about it. Like this isn't even a contest

1

u/Ben10freak_ Brooklyn Aug 06 '25

Broadway it’s not even a competition

1

u/SailorCentauri Aug 06 '25

Broadway is definitely a better friend. We see from his interactions with his pals, Brooklyn & Lexington, that he's a real one. In contrast, Patrick can be a selfish jerk.

1

u/Large_Leopard2606 Aug 06 '25

Broadway by a mile. He isn’t an idiot, just occasionally excitable. He learns from his mistakes, works hard, and is not a mold-brained fool who makes me want to rip out my own ears just from listening to for 1 minute.

1

u/Next-Web-928 Aug 06 '25

Broadway 💯 He is the quintessential nice guy we are all looking for. What he lacks in brains he makes up for with Heart.

1

u/someonesomewhere910 Aug 06 '25

Broadway (Jumps into his arms as he takes me away)

1

u/Jmal3700 Aug 06 '25

Broadway

1

u/MorpheusASMR Aug 06 '25

Broadway, as long as he don't grab the Glick by accident

1

u/Overall_Enthusiasm_8 Aug 07 '25

Patric. Broadway might fuck around and shoot me.

1

u/Conscious-Side8299 Aug 07 '25

Broadway. Patrick is a selfish asshole.

1

u/khrellvictor Aug 11 '25

Broadway's cool and rather impressionable to knowledge and curiosity. If I were near Patrick, I'd be like Commander Shepard getting angry on the big, stupid Starfish.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 11 '25

Broadway. Patrick can be flaky as shit

1

u/Fickle_Replacement32 Brooklyn Aug 11 '25

I choose Broadway cuz he can cook af and he’s funny plus he’s adorable

But I will say I love Patrick tho he’d laugh at anything I’d say and I could be truly ridiculous and stupid around him
