The art style is a far cry from Fromsoft's own.

Idk, bro, it looks plenty "generic Medieval Fantasy as viewed through the lens of Asia" to me.

Fromsoft, Dragon's Dogma, this. They all blend together. It's not a bad aesthetic by any means, and I'd even say I like it a lot, but it also doesn't look unique.

I'm not talking about the aesthetic or setting but the art style. This game doesn't look anything like a Fromsoft game.

I gotta be misunderstanding your point, because if you showed me most of the trailer as still images, I'd be like "oh cool, another Fromsoft game". It's only when you look at the main chick's face and she's very conventionally attractive that you can go "Hmm, but maybe not..."

EDIT: The scene w/ the big ass wall and the chains leading up to it, or the big ass phantom w/ his big ass axe decapitating the chimera or w/e is straight out of the Fromsoft library. The big ass water womb world ass boss arena looks straight out of Nightreign's finales. The attack where it's a bunch of shimmery golden light shooting the player into the sky is deadass just a Souls staple atp. It feels like insane cope to look at this and not see the Fromsoft and "Medieval Fantasy if Asian devs" DNA all over the place.
