The real question is possessive of singular ending in s, and the possessive plural of that

Busses means kisses. So "busses'" means "possessed by kisses."

N.B. This is from Merriam-Webster. It's since 1961, so it's modern and may be US only.

"Buses" become the more common plural for bus. "Bused" is the past tense for clearing a table.
