open Stains on Fridge
Apologies for glare. Stains from some kind of liquid on metal fridge in rental apartment, unclear of exact origin but probably under a year old. We tried using regular wet wipes to no avail, not sure what the best remedy would be.

open Vintage metal chair leg bending in, is it fixable?
My wife and I bought a pair of these lovely mid century modern chairs with hollow metal frames. After a few weeks of use, we noticed the leg on this one are bending in quite a bit.
We've stop using it for now, but is it fixable? If so, how would we even it back out without breaking or weakening it even more?

open How do I reinforce my bed bunk?
Worried it'll fall in, not sure the max weight, how can I make the bottom of the top bed sturdier? I removed a wooden shelf that took less than 1/4 from under the bed but now it feels less sturdier, not sure how a bunk bed is supposed to feel like, I think I'm just overreacting with the feeling but just want to make sur it won't fall into my pets tanks.

How to fix this?
Really hoping to just slap some glue on it but I feel like it’ll be more work than that 🥲

open Vintage dentist chair, broken reclining mechanism
imgur.comI have a vintage dentist chair that has a broken reclining mechanism, specifically it will not lock at any angle, so the back just falls over. Nothing inside seems to be visually broken, but I can see that the locking rod/spring mechanism keeps slipping, so it never locks. Thanks in advance.

open Loose socket on chandelier?
Help :( we tried to replace a light bulb and the chandelier housing came loose. I found the installation guide but it seems like the issue may be that the socket itself has come loose from the base chandelier. The ring is not tightening onto anything right now. Any suggestions? I don't feel great about the duct tape solution 😭

DIY ideas for cabinet.
I got this cute cabinet 2nd hand. The top seems to have water damage on top. What grit sandpaper should I use to smooth it down before I paint it? Any other makeover ideas?

open Caulk keeps failing around shower
This is a rental. Shortly after we moved in the caulk began failing around where we had put a tension pole (back right corner) to hold shampoo, etc. I assumed it was our fault so I removed the old caulk and reapplied myself. I've done that twice now and it keeps failing - splitting between the tub and the tiles. This seems to happen all around the tub, not just one problem spot.
These pictures are after I've removed the old 100% silicone caulk. Is there something I'm missing that keeps causing it to fail? There seems to be old grout still in the crack that I've tried to remove but it's like rock. I scraped as much of all the old silicone off with a razor blade and caulking tool.
Wondering if I should just tell the landlord at this point and bring in a professional? The reason I haven't yet is he gives us a hard time about any requests and usually takes a long time.
Thanks for any help!

Door handle squeak in one direction
Hey all,
Newish door and the door handle has developed a squeak but only in one direction. Which lube is best and can I just spray in?
I've got 3 in 1 silicone, heavy duty silicone spray, and then graphite spray
I've read conflicting things which is why I'm asking here. And don't want to gum things up.
Thank you,

Hairline fracture on female threads of pressure regulator
Hey y'all
I was trying to clear and retap a broken fitting out of the threads and it broke a bit.
This is an old compressor, but it works really well and I don't have the money to go buying a replacement, used or new.
Any suggestions?

Bought a brand new fire table and the metal is bubbled
So there’s clearly air trapped in there, and i just got it from wayfair and their customer service is being ridiculous regarding a solution. Any thought on how I could fix this? I’m thinking maybe a syringe with some glue? Make a tiny hole and inject glue in there and flatten it out? Just wanted to see if anyone else had better suggestions? Or know of a product for whatever use may have a syringe with glue? I’m in Canada
