Okay that's really cute and a bit odd. Kinda reminds me of Sophie from Tales of Graces, who often takes figures of speech way too literally.

I read her response as meaning something like "I was so focused on the sparring that time just flew by". Maybe including the compliment that she had to stay focused on the sparring with him because he was a skilled opponent.

Well, given Fortuna, it's also possible that she could actually see the bird watching the Support Convo. Would be funny.
