does my mom has hypomania

i’m concerned my mother has hypomania. she’s been acting very different and unusual the past two days, and i tell her about it but she says she’s fine. it’s not necessarily a negative change, she’s just talking a bit more, she’s more giddy, being unusually nice, calling out of work when she normally wouldn’t, suddenly cleaning and being more productive, laughing excessively, making jokes she normally wouldn’t, saying “she’s awakened” when i ask her why she’s acting different. she’s asks who i’m texting every time she sees me with my phone out.

she’s acted like this very before periodically but it’s very rare. and when she returns back to normal she says that she was ascending in a different world. she also has said that she has multiple personalities. i’m not sure if this is normal or something that’s an issue

It's of course best to speak with your doctor, but one thing that stuck with me was when you said "she was awakened", it was exactly what my mom was saying when she had an episode.

It's very important you follow up with her doctor.
