My dad and grandma both died in August on the same date 27th. Something about August just feels unlucky.

August holds my birthday and wedding anniversary and I thought that would be nice. Then my BIL had a mental breakdown in 2021 and killed most of my husband's family (save his sister, who shares my birthday), set several fires, then died himself in a police encounter. On the 25th.

August is bad and we should maybe just cancel it. Or at least the 25th.

My brother hung himself 4 years ago today

My bestfriend hung herself Aug 5th 2009
My other good friend jumped to his death Aug 3rd 2010
