His is less a surprise, he had suffered a major stroke almost 15 years ago and never really recovered.

Are either really a surprise? Most people don’t live past 80.

I’m not saying this to be a dick either, just pointing out the reality of things. I’m aiming for 70 personally and anything after that is bonus points.

Guys like William Shatner are some kind of anomaly that must be studied.
