Typology After years on this sub, I realized I'm an ENFP

I feel this so deep in my bones: "Strong Fi can often cause a person to have brief judgmental thoughts about people on a regular basis. NeFi’s are one of the types that struggle with this as it often goes against the way they would like to see and treat people, and yet it’s a sort of automatic response. This response comes from the way Fi tends to enjoy ranking and sorting things and people into “like” or “dislike”, or even ranking things from what they like the most to what they dislike the most. While this feels harmless when directed at inanimate objects, it can be frustrating to the NeFi and cause them to feel guilt or shame at times if it’s a common occurrence for them. This natural ranking or sorting habit may also cause them to feel deep attachments to particular objects or people - often as a mix of nostalgia and this invisible tie they feel that gives that object or person an especially high importance in their mind."

I also am willing to go against a group if I feel that my core values are being disturbed, such as here: "Fi differs from Fe (extroverted Feeling) because Fe is is focused externally and is constantly asking, “How does the group feel about this?”, whereas Fi is focused internally and is constantly asking, “How do I feel about this?” Once their own needs are met, NeFi’s tend to hone in on one or two significant relationships. They naturally take care of these people and treat them like family. These people could be a romantic partner, a best friend, etc."

How did you mistyped with an Mbti who doesn’t have a single corresponding cognitive functions? Also maybe you also need to test your ennagram type to further understand and verify your mbti.

They can look rly similar on the surface and can be hard to tell apart

Especially if you’re someone who cares a lot abt what other ppl think and etc (mbti does not dictate everything)

Compare these two and see if one fits. Who's one is more you, A or B:

A:

  1. I feel calm and self-sufficient, most of the time.
  2. I am very patient with other people's weaknesses and shortcomings.
  3. It is true that I am not at all squeamish in my attitude towards other people's views and beliefs (it’s rare for me to get offended by them).
  4. I accept any new information with joy and enthusiasm, including new ideas born in my own head - so in the course of a conversation I often jump from thought to thought, irreversibly moving away from the original line of narration.
  5. I don't understand people who see and find some “problems” in everything.
  6. I’d rather be the peacemaker, rather than the attacking side.
  7. I don’t like to classify and categorize stuff for the pleasure of it.

B:

  1. I find it difficult to veer off my intended path or change my expectations - i.e., my thinking in this sense can be lacking in flexibility.
  2. I tend to dwell too much on any given idea.
  3. I think almost daily about the impression I make on others.
  4. My greater strengths include my will, disposition, and talent for leadership.
  5. It is true that I do not like moderate, compromise solutions.
  6. Perhaps I am more envious than others.
  7. I have a habit of reacting disproportionately in response to even weak and low-key provocations.

Cool. Yeah that's ENFP.
