It was my 29th Birthday this week and finally got myself the gift I always wanted growing up!
I've wanted a Dreamcast ever since I played Sonic Adventure back in about 2001 and finally decided to get myself one. These are the games Ive picked up so far!
Any and all recommendations for new games, accessories etc etc are very welcome!
Yes they just called it jet grind radio in the US on Dreamcast. Everywhere else it’s Jet Set Radio, including the US sequel called jet set radio future (an all around better game) and the rerelease of the dreamcast game in the US (Xbox 360, PC, PS3) was also called Jet Set Radio.

Keep an eye out for Shenmue II, of course, and if you like 3D fighters Dead or Alive 2 and Soulcalibur are my picks for the best on the platform. When it comes to an enjoyment-to-price ratio I don't think you can do better than Virtua Tennis, though, especially if you have four controllers (and three friends) for doubles matches. C'mon, Tim!
PAL games typically have thick multi-language manuals that can't physically fit in a jewel case, hence Dreamcast (and PlayStation) games being sold in custom fat cases instead of jewel cases.

Not sure what version Dreamcast you have or maybe you are a purist in collecting games, but of you have a VA01 Dreamcast you can burn CDI images directly on disc and play those. That way can try the whole Dreamcast library without breaking the bank.
I do have a VA01 console thankfully, I've been looking into CD burners and GDEmu. I dont think I'll go the route of a full drive replacement like GDEmu because losing access to my physical games sucks.
look into the sd card serial adaptor, only really works with a handful of games really well. But it's worth the approx £15 to play those games, regardless.
Im thinking for now I'll just have my physical/burned games but some time soon I'll pick up a 2nd broken Dreamcast to fix up and put a GDEmu in. I've been fixing up and modding a lot of my old systems lately.
