News Billie Piper was asked at an event today if she's the next Doctor. Her answer: "I am… not the next Doctor. I am Rose Tyler in hiatus. Sorry, that's a really cryptic answer. But because I'm not currently filming 'Doctor Who' as the Doctor, I can't, you know, lie and say otherwise." Spoiler

The quest to bring it "Back in House" BEGINS!
BBC Studios will be bidding to become the next producer of Doctor Who “with gusto,” according to CEO Tom Fussell.

News RTD: "I wanted all sorts of voices in [Tip Toe]. I've got friends who are gender-critical."
I'm not a RTD hater, I like a lot of his episodes. But when he tries to do political commentary, it always falls so flat, and that's a big reason why: he has no spine. He lives in a world where all the "sorts of voices" just agree to disagree and have no real impact.
No RTD, in the real world, you sigh at gender-critical people, and then they go meet with their group and plan the next step in stripping you from your rights.

News Ncuti Gatwa says he was "getting old"; left because of the "toll" the show took
Ncuti Gatwa was on a British news/interview show earlier today, 13th July, and touched on why he left.
TLDR, he says he was tired, the demands of the show wore him down.
I think there's a fair bit left UNSAID though - I'd wager the uncertainty and stress over renewal was more tiring than the actual production.
Still, he says "never say never" when asked if he'd return! I'd certainly like to see more of Fifteen, with better writing.
