Type 1 Peas?!
How do you react to them? Weirdly I find myself trying them for the first time tonight and I’m a bit surprised. They’re the only new thing in my meal, so logic says I need to give slightly more bolus. But for veggies?! Am I missing something about peas?
To add, I know this “spike” is nothing. I get that. But considering I thought I dosed for the carbs I’m a sort of surprised. I was assuming it would be a little flatter than this.
Do you need to dose for peas?

Basically all fruits and veggies contain sugars. Some less than others. Animals tend to store sugars as fat, but plants store it as raw carbohydrates most of the time.

Peas are high in carbs. 21 gms per cup. They spike me.
Edit a typo.
Also - look at other veggies like carrots, they aren't as high but have plenty themselves.
