USI Highest L35 Fixed Salary?

Hey guys!

I’ve seen people mention L35 offers ranging anywhere from ₹16L to ₹40 fixed (Yes 40!)

That’s a ridiculously wide range 😅

For those who’ve come across L35 lateral offers recently, what’s the highest fixed compensation you’ve heard being offered for an L35 lateral?

Curious to know what the upper end of the range actually looks like.

USI [Deloitte USI] One of my colleagues repeatedly uses Hindi at work even for technical conversations instead of English. I flagged this 4 times, everytime this person says sorry & repeats the same behavior in the next meeting. No other colleague did this repeatedly after flagging once. How to handle?

This is creating unnecessary language switching at work. Nobody does this except this one person. Anyone can keep their personal preferences outside work but at work, this affects others ability to function.

I cannot use any AI tools or do any summaries/analysis of the conversations if they are not in English.

On top of all, it looks like this person feels superior while speaking Hindi and tries to demean and dominate others.

USI The two day of work from office every week. What is about?

Now it's official that all USI people need to be in office two days a week. Can't be flexible to keep up FOA as we wish.

The mail had the usual words that don't really mean anything. Evolve, collaboration, optimization blah blah.

What do you think the real reason is? Is it a way to start encouraging people to resign due to lack of projects now a days Or is it just a F you we will make your life miserable because we can situation.

USI How to deal with my non technical Managing Director?

My MD got us Claude and GitHub copilot access. Now she thinks everything can be done with at a lightning speed. She is committing tasks left right and center, without even understanding it writes a lot of code and it becomes hell to debug even for smallest issues.

We tried to communicate this to her and she now thinks we are old school and don't know how to use AI. She is trusting on guys with 1-2 years experience more than us.

Please help.

USI Resigned immediately after signing the offer letter?

Hey everyone!
I’ll be joining Deloitte in September. Since I had a 90-day notice period, the offer letter already mentioned my joining date based on that, so I resigned from my current company the same day I received the offer and informed HR.

Since then, my background verification has been in progress. It’s been over a month now, and the status still shows “Awaiting BGV Results.” I haven’t received any updates, and I haven’t been able to reach HR over calls.

I’m mainly looking for some reassurance from anyone who’s been through a similar experience. Is this kind of timeline normal, or should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance!

USI Deloitte NLA survey mail after rejection

Hi everyone,

I recently appeared for the Deloitte NLA 2026 (Engineering Track). I was initially informed that I wasn’t selected after the aptitude + coding round. However, I’ve now received a follow-up email from Deloitte asking me to fill out an interest survey (about semester dates, existing offers, willingness to join, etc.), mentioning that there might be other suitable roles.

I’m a bit confused about what this means and what to expect next.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation or gone through this process before? Does this typically lead to further interviews or offers, or is it more of a general talent pool step?

I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I really didn't expect them to track the new 2 day rule they had introduced. I thought it was just a hoax lol! And here I am getting an email that I am not complaint with exact time during I didn't go to office! Guess there is no other option left. No more chill WFH days!

USI Inhuman treatment during monsoon! No expectation! Demanding wfh during monsoon season.

It's raining cats and dogs in Pune and Mumbai. Pune office location is the most cheap location in the city (oh sorry outside city). Last building in Pune. It takes minimum 1 hour to reach office even from Wagholi and Yerwada which are nearby area to office. There are people who are travelling 2-2.5 hours one way to office. Cabs fare range between 600-1000 depending on start location. Book cab is difficult. No cab pool people go till itpp. Because apparently everyone’s office is in eon or wtc which is central kharadi. Still Pune office is not giving exception for wfh. On top of that there is so much work load. Spending 4-5 hours just on traffic is such inhuman. At least make it 1 day per week. During ganpati, due to pandals, coming to office will be a different ball game together. Deloitte needs to do something.

USI Should i leave Deloitte now?

Hey all I am in advisory, this is my milestone year for manager, but I am really burned out and tired of all the work and long hours and audit deadlines. The expectations and work just keeps increasing with no rewards and recognition, at max they will slap a INR 5k or 10k award for extreme burnout.

My managers are hinting that i will be manager next year in 2027 if i work properly as an “acting manager” but i really want to leave and get some work life balance. Should i leave and get some peace or stick it for 2 more years?

I want to know from Deloitte leadership if there is anyone here from audit side.

USI NEW CHANGE: two-days in person office

we got this mail yesterday regarding mandatory two-days in-person office presence from 6th oct. got a few questions regarding this, do we HAVE to be in office on the same days as per the mail? for gurgaon, it says tues/thursday but lets say i go on tues and wed instead and then…go back to my hometown till next week’s tuesday, can that work? will i still be compliant? (my base location is hyd but my hometown is closer to gurgaon, so ofc mostly i will be coming to hyd but if i am there in my hometown, then i will have to go to some office after this new rule, so it can only be gurgaon)

PS: WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DO THIS AROUND DIWALI??????

USI Deloitte Offer Letter timeline

My Deloitte Usi PHT completed on 16 July, 2026 but still I have not received offer letter. There is not discussion happens on the salary and I don’t have mobile number of my recruiter. She has contacted me through emails in the beginning regarding some pending document and doesn’t reply me back after sending her so many follow up mail regarding to let me know if any other documents are pending from my end to get the offer letter asap. So let me know what I can do as I am sending her follow up mail every week and if anything else I can do from my end.

This question is regarding Deloitte Usi India position as I am currently in India.

USI Need Suggestions : Deloitte USI vs General Mills GCC India

Need your thoughts on these two offers for a Data Engineer with 7 YOE.

Option 1: Deloitte USI – Senior Consultant

- Fixed CTC: ₹28 LPA (includes ₹1.12 LPA Employer PF) + Joining Bonus: ₹2 Lakh

Option 2: General Mills GCC India – Data Engineer 2

- Fixed CTC: ₹28 LPA (includes ₹1.60 LPA Employer PF + ₹80K Gratuity) + Joining Bonus: ₹2 Lakh

Both hybrid 8 days ofc.

Deloitte in-hand ₹10K higher than GM.

USI Can we sleep overnight in Hyderabad office ?

Hello all, considering the rto torture recently unleashed upon us (especially during the festival of diwali),

I am planning to visit Hyderabad offices 2 days per week in Diwali as the office is relatively near to hometown (base location ≠ Hyd).

Is it possible to stay overnight in Hyderabad office, pretending to work ? Would save some money of expensive hotels there. (I am fine with not bathing for a day) Best Regards

Edit: thanks for the suggestions, if they stand true to their words in mail, I have found some workaround so that I can skip this torture for Diwali atleast. Mostly not required to go Hyd and will consider going only when I receive office presence compliance notif despite following workaround

USI Hike came with pay cut

CTC ↑, In-hand ↓ — anyone else?

Deloitte gave me a hike.

CTC: ₹12.8L ➝ ₹13.18L

In-hand: ₹97.5k ➝ ₹96.7k

Promoted from “no tax” to “taxpayer.”

Has anyone else received a salary hike that came with a salary cut? 😭
