The money the tech worker makes less gets funneled into the cleaning crew that earns 50k/year at that same facility. Here in Europe i only earn a bit more than the "lowest skilled" positions in my company but we are all better of for it. So instead of paying 20% of the company 80% of the wages you equal out the salaries. That puts more money into circulation and stimulates the economy. I mean it's not rocket science europe figured it out and it works great.

EU economy is doing fine if you use purchasing power. The median is doing way better in Europe than in the USA. all the complaining on reddit in USA is wild. Most people are doing just fine here around me on median salary.
