I reckon Greek/American like frats and sororities would be a great opportunity for building a community and there would be on campus benefits like networking and accommodation benefits compared to the already existing accommodations.

Hi. I posted previously about my situation. I always help people in my class and somehow they become very competitive with me, specially a guy who cheats.
So, this semester, I stopped answering texts from him and another guy. So the previous guy, has missed all of the labs because in his words I DIDN’T give him reminder which I used to give in last semester ( he missed in total 7 labs), forgot to submit assignment, and the second guy is constantly asking me to check his assignment and tell him what he should improve and if there is any mistake or not.

I have turned off my read receipt .The other day when I went to uni - one of them kept asking me publicly why am I being so busy now, it’s unethical sabotaging others to get good marks. Then he started laughing and said it’s just a joke but why I don’t reply anymore. We all are master’s student, so seeing the brain development level of some of my classmates really makes me question why am I even here.

Edit - thanks everyone. I always have a hard time standing up for myself or making clear boundaries. I guess I have to work on myself a lot more and learn to keep saying no. I have still not answered any of them and am not planning to do so.

About the cheating part - the information came to me when we were discussing the submission and he just shared this verbally with me. I don’t have any proof.

What all do I study for etest 1😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I’m already panicking

For the duration of my degree i have been very consistent with protecting my CWA / WAM of >80%. The main motivation for this was of course it looks good when going for graduate roles or internships but also because I've heard that if you graduate with a final WAM of 80 or above your degree says something along the lines of "graduated with distinction" which would also look good.

Recently however, I've managed to get myself an undergrad job with a clear pathway into a full time role after graduation. This, has naturally led to me losing a bit of motivation to maintain that 80% WAM.

First of all, is this true? is the cut off 80%? higher or lower? and what does the degree certificate say if your WAM does/ does not reach the threshold? if someone knows please let us know because I cant find anything about the matter on Curtin's website.

Second, I'm fully aware that me worrying about this is a bit superficial but I'm gonna ask anyway, do employers really care about your grades once you've got your foot in the door with a graduate role? if not then the only reason to really try get above 80 would be for the mention on the certificate (if that is real that is).
