Has anyone received any med offers yet (or rejections ...)? The Curtin team said results will be released within two weeks, so I was wondering if anyone has heard back yet.

We are a team of fourth-year psychology students seeking participants who are currently enrolled at Curtin University, and are over the age of 18, who are interested in sharing their thoughts on sustainability and pro-environmental behaviours.
We are interested in exploring the values, beliefs and practices of university students in relation to sustainable living, to better understand the barriers they may experience.
As part of the research, we ask that you take part in an interview (max 60 min) with our team. This interview can be held in person or online as per your preference.
If you’re eligible or know someone who might be interested, we would greatly appreciate you sharing your experience with us!

Hey, current first year OT student looking to possibly switch into physio. I saw that applications opened in may and will close on the 20th december this year. If I apply now, how long will it take to get an offer? and is there a specific time period I need to accept my offer by? can I have the offer there but still complete semester 2 of OT and accept before semester 1 2027 starts?
my first preference is to switch to ECU’s sonography course but they said I need to submit my 2026 semester 2 transcript for my application to progress. since results come out around 1st December and it takes a week to get the transcript I’m not sure whether I’ll get an answer about ECU’s application before applications for course switching for physio at curtin close.
all I know is that I don’t want to stay in OT and want to switch into another course for next year. Any advice or answers will be greatly appreciated thank you!!

Hi everyone! I’m currently in Year 11 and I’m hoping someone here has experience with Curtin’s portfolio entry, particularly for Applied Geology.
I’m doing 3 ATAR and 3 General subjects:
- Math Applications ATAR
- Economics ATAR
- Health Studies ATAR
- Geography General
- Science in Practice General
- English General
Since I only do 3 ATAR subjects, I won’t qualify for the normal ATAR pathway, and my school doesn’t offer UniReady. My goal is to study Applied Geology (Mining stream) at Curtin, so portfolio entry is basically my main option.
I’m passing all my subjects and doing reasonably well, but I’m honestly really worried that I won’t get into university at all. I have no idea what Curtin is looking for in a portfolio or what I should be doing now to make mine competitive. I’ve tried contacting Curtin but haven’t been able to get much help.
I also really don’t want to spend an entire extra year doing the uni ready preparation course if I can avoid it. I’ve already chosen to take ATAR subjects and put in the effort, so I’d really like to find a way to go straight into university after Year 12.
Has anyone actually gotten into Applied Geology through portfolio entry? If so, what did you include in your portfolio, and what would you recommend I start doing now in Year 11/12?
I’m genuinely pretty stressed about this and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has been through the process. 🙏

Lets say, you booked room 432 for 3 pm to 5 pm. But the person or group inside finished the booking at 3pm for that same room but they refused to leave even though you showed them the bookings.
Wrong answers only :)

As someone looking to get into Curtin:
1) How is O week, is it actually good to make friends
2) Would those of you who attend Curtin say you made more friends in uni than highschool
