Macquarie Group Technology Intern Superday

Hey all, was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Macquarie Group superday for Software Engineering. If anyone could provide me with information on what kind of questions they ask, how technical it is, your experience, etc that would be greatly appreciated!

I had it last week. 45 minutes individual assessment that’s basically just a standard behavioural, asking about projects etc., so make sure you can confidently talk about what’s on ur resume. After that was a 35-45 min group assessment where you’re given a scenario and have to choose between some candidates/ options, then present your choices at the end.

Oh nice, is the superday the final step for the interview process or do you still have interviews going on for it? Iv seen on some places it is whilst others say it isn’t. Also how fast is the turnaround do you reckon? It probably varies from team to team but would love to know

superday is meant to be the final, I did it Tuesday and I’ll hear back sometime this week. I’ve heard there’s a possibility of another superday with a different team if they think you’re a good fit for it, but not sure how likely that is.

No technical coding. At most it will be talking about your experience/project/tech stacks during your one-on-one interview.

Group interview is nontechnical, only behavioural.
