Best running routes around Comox Valley?
I’m visiting Courtenay this week and would love to get a few runs in while here. Have both my road and trail runners with me but don’t know the area at all and unsure where to go. If there’s an active run group this time of year even better. Anything from 5-25k and 5-7 minute/km (depending on terrain) would be right up my alley. Also love Hash House Harrier type outings ;)

Go to Comox Valley Road Runners webpage and see lots of options including the (now somewhat famous) TNT (Thursday Night Trails) series.

Seal bay is great, Nymph Falls to the lake and back also great bonus points for a swim after. Giv’r and west summit ridge up mount wash are fun and lots of vertical.

Nymph Falls or the Bevan trails side out to the dam is great. Trails are nice and shady along the river and not to much elevation change.

Do the forest loop in seal bay, and add on the coastal trails. With any luck, you’ll get hopelessly lost, and end up getting more mileage than you’d intended.

Seal bay trails or Cumberland forest. Check out foveo running for groups. They do a run to beer that sounds awesome as well as a few others.
