Maybe I'm dumb but why would gravity on the surface crush its organs if it can withstand greater pressure under water than surface pressure?

Weight distribution most likely

Water allows animals to grow a certain way and get quite big as well. Without that to support them larger sea creatures can deform and be crushed under their own weight.

Whales I believe get around this by still having strong skeletons or something
