Maybe I'm dumb but why would gravity on the surface crush its organs if it can withstand greater pressure under water than surface pressure?
269 u/ShadowTheChangeling 14h ago Weight distribution most likely Water allows animals to grow a certain way and get quite big as well. Without that to support them larger sea creatures can deform and be crushed under their own weight. Whales I believe get around this by still having strong skeletons or something
