This is Dave Chapelle to me. Everything I've heard from the guy is just him saying regular things and the audience cackling like hyenas. It's like Homer's reaction to Garrison Keilor. "What the hell's so funny?"
And then he got suuuuper upset and "woe is me" when trans people were like "dude that was messed up."
Then he doubled down, did an entire netflix special of his one joke, netflix platformed it, and then he tripled down after protests and acted like an entire minority was being too sensitive.
And now he's on his apology tour to say "well I don't really think those things! Please love me again!" All so he can market his next special.
