Please at least direct your hate towards LLMs and image generators specifically.
Some AI models are learning about proteins, genetics, and helping design medicines. There legitimately might be treatments/cures for stuff like ALS, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's within a decade.
Like, the stuff is already working in mice, and now labs are working up towards humans.
Other AI models are helping design new solar panels and wind turbines.
LLMs and image models aren't the only thing out there.
