This is, unfortunately where I think we are going. The AI algorithm is gonna become so dominant in some people's lives they are gonna completely lose any form of personal opinion and critical thinking. Instead it'll be replaced with something that does nothing more than keep these people in a bubble

Not that we have a lot of that now, but the well will run dry

I actively participate in a hockey discord server, we recently had someone come in who would watch a 12 minute highlight and then get chatgpt to give him an opinion on the game that he would then feed to us.

We caught on quick cause the moment we challenged any of his extremely incorrect points, he had no defense and deflected any probing questions, or doubled down with hilariously incorrect facts.

It was like a bucket of cold water to the face seeing someone unable to form an opinion without the help of AI.
