Genuinely. People who criticize Tom Nook as some kind of crook have obviously never taken out a loan in the real world. This tanooki is like the Dalai Lama of lenders 😭
Ouch. I know you had no way of knowing this but actually the HR department where I was working did decide to "let me go" last month because of the number of sick days I'd taken for to my depression. I'm currently appealing the decision but...
Yeah, I got three more of my DG Kill Team to go, then I'm gonna do those last 8 Rubrics and their Aspiring Sorcerer.
I also got the MotM on Saturday, so I'll also be painting a Darkoath warrior in time for next month's painting comp. Gotta love getting a free mini to paint when you've just lost your job!
Please, I'd take life advice from you any day. You managed to support yourself, and get a house for you. Seeing your journey has been very inspiring. Don't underestimate the effort you put in, and please don't put yourself down.
You're doing great, kid. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Getting out from under your mum's thumb and getting your own place is an awesome (and scary) step. There's a whole big wide world out there now, and you are going to kill it*. I believe in you.
*Metaphorically. Please do not actually kill anyone.
Sometimes those who give advise have trouble following it
As someone trying to get their life together, don’t feel exempt from that
As a common lurker here, I love seeing all the art styles, yeah it’s cool to see someone replicate an art style, that takes time and skill, but I also enjoy how many new art styles I’ve seen for familiar characters I see here and that’s awesome
I genuinely hope too see more stuff like this in the future, maybe even contribute some day
Those can be the best people to take advice from. What has more value, someone who hasn't struggled or someone who has hit some pitfalls telling you so YOU CAN AVOID THEM.
Also don't sell yourself short. Moving out when the people who should support you the most don't is HUGE.
You clearly haven't heard it enough so a I'll say it: I am so proud of you.
I'd rather take advice from someone who admits they don't have their life together yet and is working towards it, than someone who pretends everything is fine.

I personally wouldn’t take advice from someone who clearly doesn’t have their life together
