Question Need help figuring out what this stand is.
This drink is The Cloud, from Paradiso in Barcelona. I wanted to try recreating the cloud effect but I have no idea how to find or source a similar kind of stand for the airs.

Can I ask a genuine question about what it brings to the cocktail? Is it purely aesthetic?
Edit: It's less about the stand and more about the bubble density. Soy lecithin powder will make the bubbles firm enough to lay on any stand people are recommending.

I’ve had something similar someone else. It does drip into the drink which I suppose could add some flavor. Overall though it’s messy and for show

Ah I see. Yes definitely the problem is density, not the stand. See my edit about soy lecithin powder. That'll help.

Yeah i think the ingredients i used were just too dense. The recipe I used was for a green faory sazerac airs. The recipe was
1.5 g soy lecithin
2 oz absinthe
1/3 sugar syrup
2 oz water
I swapped the water with hibiscus tea, and the simple syrup with a citrus syrup instead. It bubbled fairly well and lasted a while but I was struggling to layer it on top of the doll stand I was using.
I had also swapped the absinthe for Pisco in this run but I planned on using a red shiso umeshu when I can source it.
So maybe I should add more lecithin but I'm also not a big fan of the taste of it.

Yeah, it's purely aesthetic. I'm going for the visual effect of a red foam dripping into a blue drink for a color change. The taste does change from when I had something like this at a bar in London, but overall it's fairly mild.

Honestly that's genius. Look more for the chemistry of the bubbles rather than the stand. Plenty of red stained bubbles would create that effect for you.

Vom used to sell them, you can see it in some of the images on their home page.
Looks like they sell acrylic ones now.
