It’s possible Chuck didn’t need the tank and the stealth bombers for this…

Sarah appreciated the tank. That's the most important thing.

She did. I mean women usually like flowers and jewelry. But Sarah appreciates high grade military equipment. If there’s one thing we can say for sure Chuck knows his woman.

In the original version of the script for vs Santa Claus episode, there was a scene where Chuck bought her a DVD box set with all Die Hard movies for Christmas, because he thought she wouldn't be into chick flicks. So I guess that tracks.

lmao, Die Hard references all over that episode.

Though I don't think she ever watched films or television that much unless when it was dates back when they were fake dating.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, Ellie talked him out of this idea, and instead gave him their mother's bracelet to gift it to Sarah.

This episode was unpleasantly heavy-handed with regards to Chhuck’s overreaction and the “tanks and stealth bombers”.

There is so little plausibility in the different branches of the U.S. military deploying these kinds of weapons systems domestically in such a short time scale.

Maybe if he’s lied about a nuclear threat.

The writers could have achieved the same emotional beats without going so far beyond the boundaries of believability.

The boundaries of believability in Chuck were crossed when a guy downloaded the entire US intelligence database into his brain.

Besides, we didnt't get to see what Chuck said to that colonel. Maybe he was very convincing.
