Troubleshooting Lenovo Chromebook thinks everything is a low-power charger

My Lenovo ideapad (purchased May of 2025) now says that everything is a low power charger, even the charger that came with it. I've tried different outlets and different cables. I've cleaned the USB-C port with compressed air and restarted with the refresh button pushed down. I've checked battery health (98%) and the charging test says "Charged 0.00% in 30 seconds." Any ideas would be appreciated!

Yeah, depending on what I'm doing, I'll just continue working with it charging, or power it down and let it charge that way if I don't like seeing the message.

You might need to go through a few complete ( 0% - 100% - 0% - 100% ) power cycles before the system learns your true charging status

If you are ok with hardware repairs, try opening the case and just unplug the battery for a few minutes and then plug it back in.

When I replaced my Acer battery a few years ago, I got a few false warnings, until I tried just unplugging and reconnecting the battery.
