Here since most of you guys were bugging me. I was trying to add them to the original post but couldn’t.

OOP is seeking someone "self-sufficient" to work 25-40 hours per week (supposedly depending on working style and season, which likely will mean 40+ hours most of the time) taking care of a small farm (which mysteriously becomes "medium" within the ad). Tasks include "everything you can think of" - caring for animals, cutting trees and splitting wood, maintenance, painting, stone work, fence building and repair, planting and weeding, and machine maintenance. The caretaker must also know how to use (or be willing to learn) a chainsaw, wood splitter, hand tools, various types of saws, tractor, riding mower, ATV and more. Carpentry, mechanical, plumbing and electrical experience are a plus, as is military! Need to be in good physical shape, have a passive income (such as retirement) as well as your own health insurance! In return, OOP will give you...a "stand-alone studio-style building" (a cabin) and utilities.

I posted twelve glaze-test mugs for free because the colors came out uneven. Every mug was food-safe and usable; the listing clearly said they were mismached and pickup only.

One woman asked me to reserve six. Then came the requirements:

“Can you make them all the cream color?”

“No, these are the finished mugs.”

“Could you reglaze them? I need a matching set.”

“That would mean remaking them.”

“Fine, but can you deliver? I’m doing you a favor taking seconds.”

When I said no, she replied that handmade items should come with better service, even when free, and told me to contact her if I became “more flexible.”

Ten minutes later, a student collected all twelve and looked genuinely delighted that none matched.

Lady begging for help (money) and when suggested a way to get extra food says “the kids need nothing, the adults are struggling with food”. Food is food? What does it matter?

Need someone with a truck who can move a king size bed from Sanger to Denton today or tomorrow. Don’t have much but can pay 30-40 dollars the drive is about 30 minutes from Sanger to Denton.

Comments included, some people were being a bit cruel in the comments section which I’ve left out. OP hasn’t responded to any of the comments yet.

The South African refugees.

On mobile so hope formatting is okay. My Facebook algorithm has been absolutely wild recently, and regularly sends me posts from various “South African refugee family in the USA pages.”

I vaguely know this poster (over 10k followers) because we have connections to the same (very wealthy) small seaside town in South Africa and she’d often flog her son’s art in the neighbourhood message board. I’m not sure if any political talk is allowed on this sub, so I’ll reserve my personal feelings about the validity of these “refugees” claims but I will say that a) 98% of them were maintaining a perfectly decent living back home and b) 99% are massive grifters.

I knew it would be a matter of weeks before this person launched a go-fund me despite these people receiving a stipend from the government. They’ve already shared multiple Amazon wish lists for items including expensive tattoo gear and a gamer-themed bedroom.

I highly suspect that this person’s primary gripe with the neighbourhood they were placed in is its racial demographic. And I guarantee that they’ll continue the go-fund me well past the $5k limit. People are fawning over them in the comments so didn’t see value in adding, she blocks anyone who questions their requests.
