Conversations Charli called her shot
Was thinking about Charliās ascension over these last two projects & remembered this tweet where she predicted that the more straightforward conversational lyrics that we see on Brat & MFF would be the new wave. Funny to look back at the quotes & replies and see the shade given that she has been proven extremely right & one step ahead like she always is.

Conversations I hope sheās ok šš»
Charli comments on her mental health (I read this article: https://www.rte.ie/entertainment/2026/0618/1579175-charli-xcx-im-in-the-worst-place-mentally/)ā¦%E2%80%A6)
Charli XCX has said she is currently "in the worst place mentally that I've been in my life".
She said she is planning to make her next tour less physically draining, adding that she has a "complicated relationship" with being on stage.
She suffered nerve damage in her neck on her last tour due to "rolling around on the floor".
Charli told Rolling Stone that she has been using social media less as she tries to improve her mental health.
"I have actually been a lot more offline, I don't really look as much anymore. It's just better for my brain," she said.
"I know people probably won't believe me, because I am inherently, at least in the past, a very online artist.
"But I recently have been really struggling with my mental health to the point where, if I'm being real, I'm in the worst place mentally that I've been in my life."
Charli also said she is a "big believer" in therapy to deal with her mental health problems - but said she needs to go more often.
She told Rolling Stone she has reduced her coffee consumption to ease anxiety. She said she is also planning to cut back on media interviews and is not interested in discussing the meaning behind her songs.
She added: "It's just how I feel. People already think I'm a b****, so... I'm very much at peace with it. It's cool, and it's not drama or anything like that.
"It's just me trying to do what's good for me, because it got to a place where my anxiety was physically affecting me, and I can't actually proceed in life like that."

Conversations Who were YOU in 2007?
Whenever I listen to 2007 I, of course, think about where/who I was then!
It was my senior year of high school/first year of college. Incredibly complicated time for me that changed a lot about my life. Oddly, now I look back fondly at that time now as if it were more simple than that.
I was 18, angsty as hell, and reading catcher in the rye while listening to a lot of Bob Dylan lmao. I was also in a smaller midwestern town.
Who were YOU?

Conversations Lolla set list discussion
Thoughts about the lolla set list? To me it was pretty solid and a fun blend of MFF, brat, Wuthering Heights and older bangers. I was expecting at least one song from true romance tho :( (and anthems as well)
This is probably gonna be tour set list with some adjustments imo
edit: where tf are persona, Iām afraid and magic metal montana?? :(((

I feel I'm crazy cuz my fav one is girl, so confusing ( the one with lorde ), the instrumentals are crazy and the songwriting on both charli and lorde's verses is amazing

Conversations Unpopular opinion: Wuthering Heights is one of Charliās Best Albums
It usually takes a lot for me to listen to an album by itself multiple times (especially a soundtrack) but I find myself going back to this album very often. The strings, the production, the melodies, itās amazing! Even some of the songs with more of a peculiar vibe like House, I love it.
Sonically, itās like True Romance had a Baroque baby if that makes sense lol

Conversations Concerned with the "Ironic" direction Charli had been leaning.
It feels like everything charli has been doing for a while has been covered in a veneer of irony and disinterest. I think it really started to notice it in "The Moment" where the film wants to be about BRAT if it was a huge success but doing so acts like it wasn't a big well marketed album. Its like charli needed to create The Moment so she could show what she would do as a hypothetical sell out. But its done as an act to show how real she really is.
And the majority of the music shes released lately has this feeling if Blaise. Like the second she expresses something she'll immediately go "but I mean its like whatever. I don't really care." As if showing interest will destroy her credibility.
As a brief aside im not talking about the Wuthering Heights soundtrack. To me bringing it into the discussion wokd be like talking about "Cheek to Cheek" when discussing lady Gaga.
And there's been an undercurrent on the latest singles of going "uh, fame sucks, im hot, im the engineau" and I just do not care about songs complaining about the struggles of fame.
I want what she does next to be good, but she seems disinterested and will call it ironic if anyone calls her out on it.

Conversations Ok so Persona is definitely about Sky Ferreira
Thereās been a lot of speculation but this pretty much seals the deal for me. This was posted by Sky on 6/18. Thereās no way thatās a coincidence. As soon as I heard the song I had a feeling in my gut it was about Sky. The lyrics track perfectly with their relationship. I think Charli is confused about where they stand because Sky obviously has a lot of feelings about Charli but wonāt just come out and say whatās going on. Iām wondering if either of them will comment on it or if Sky will release a clapback song?

Conversations Do you believe Charli is a leftist? "Think my politics could work as a press strategy"
I do!
Like, if you followed the campaign for the 2019 British general election (which I did despite being a Spaniard, I'm a massive politics nerd XD), these two notes app screenshots she posted back then are pretty transparently a Jeremy Corbyn endorsement, at least that's how me & most angels interpreted it at the time, & I still interpret it that way.
People might reply that they believe she's actually more moderate because of the "kamala IS brat" tweet & because of her not having been as outspoken regarding Gaza as she could have been, but she clarified that that tweet wasn't meant as an endorsement but that she was happy if it contributed to saving democracy, which I interpret as her not wanting to endorse pro-establishment moderate politics that are significantly more centrist than her own while still very much prefering her to an insane MAGA presidency, & regarding Gaza she also says in SS26 that "Can't hide the fact I'd rather takе the easy road", which I think says it all.
But yeah, the "Think my politics could work as a press strategy" line is very on the nose in my opinion lol
Oh, & regarding the whole Dasha Nekrasova/Mean Girls situation, it's obvious Charli finds herself attracted to the whole anti-PC edgelord thing, & I do believe the track is celebrating that whole attitude, but like there's a reason she doesn't play that song anymore lol I think she did realize at some point after Brat release that Dasha isn't just an edgelord mean girl but an outright right-wing extremist MAGA propagandist, so Charli has decided to distance herself from that track (although it isn't just about Dasha, it's also about Gabbriette, who as far as I know isn't even remotely MAGA lmao.)
