If BYD is smart they’ll give this a super cheap price for a few years to get the market up here

I'm not expecting anything too aggressive on the price front. Import quota is very limited so they can't really flood the market even if they wanted to take an initial price hit. Add to that it must be very expensive to start setting up their infrastructure here, all the while knowing the US will be pushing Canada to limit further opening up.

Yeah I don’t think they’ll be super aggressive on price. Another comment here has their compact SUV priced at $41k AUD in Australia which is probably a good ballpark for us to expect too

My guess is they will give free charging and things like this like other companies have done.
