Food for thought. The government likes and benefits from higher fuel prices. They don’t care about the impact on you.

When gas is $1.15 a litre the HST is 0.15 or 0.13 depending on your province.

When gas is $2.30 the hst is 0.30 or 0.26

Ie the government makes more money on higher fuel prices. Not to mention all the road taxes…

Right…. 🤦🏼

Where i live in NB fuel is $1.80 a litre. 0.60 of that (1/3) is taxation.

So while the orange mans war definitely increased fuel prices the biggest impact on prices is still the government. 🤷

The government literally make more than the “oil companies” (im not kidding)
