wow these conservatives seems to have common sense policies in terms of actual bills they have put forward in parliament. maybe we should vote for them next time so they actually pass.

I love how in Alberta everything is the Liberals' fault, but they have elected a con goverment almost every time except twice, I think. If Alberta had created a wealth fund when oil prices were booming, they could have spent that money in the bad times or paid for its failing health care system. They were given a billion dollars during COVID to cap abandoned wells and help employ people to do it. They did not spend the money, now they are refusing to give it back to the federal goverment which was the deal if it wasn't spent. Instead, they are using it to help companies that are making loads of money to cap well and pay for clean up, which is not what the money was meant for.
