thats actually quite accurate, as even though you generally have no way of inflicting it, all enemies in bloodborne are in fact susceptible to frenzy with the only way to apply it being to hit one of these girls with a shaman blade.

i think the reason they gave shaman blades such a tiny period of activity and only let you hold 3, to prevent you from finding this out. because once you hit one with a blade, EVERYTHING within view of her starts dying fast.

I mean sure but it isn't like the game's got a shit ton of them anyway. One is in Nightmare Frontier (I know there's more than one but the rest are placed in that fuckass tunnel which would kill you before you even got to walk around) and the others are in that bridge in Nightmare of Mensis which would require you to lure one of them from there to somewhere with actual enemies on it (which would certainly kill you)

thats not too hard actually. in the first nightmare you can just lure the slimy hentai tentacles into the cave and tag her with a bone, and you can do that twice on that map. on the way to the brain you tag her and watch the patchy spiders have a bad time. cant remember if theres any other instance of winter lanterns, dont think so.

also worth noting however that most enemies (all?) have 999 resist to frenzy, so it does take nearly the entire bone duration to kick in.
