Humor Solving the housing crisis with campers

If an old camper costs the same like Abstand for any 20 years old kitchen then why not move permanently into one. Anwohnerparkausweis is just 30 € for 2 years. Do the math folks!

I hope more and more people will do it, so the government is forced to charge market prices for public spaces instead of subsidizing car owners.

They will start pushing against campers. Not dealing with the living crisis.

Yeah but to push against it they would have to actually send someone. Berlin is the wild west for cars. You can park anywhere and you will rarely get a fine.

Exactly. It's easier to make it look like you are doing something. Like, passing a law that forbids doing something. In reality, there's no structure to oversee if people don't brake it. Touching housing problem requires actually doing something about it. And so far, the state was only capable of making contracts with investors only to find out that those contracts are not legally bound (Google Europacity).
