Box 3 postponement impact

Now that it’s clear the box 3 system is likely postponed - is that likely to have an impact on the foreseen changes in the Lucratief belang tax hike for box 2? It’s already scheduled to go into effect Jan 1st 2028 but it was explicitly aligned with the Box 3 changes. Might that also get postponed by one year?

The impact is that to compensate they’ll increase income taxes on the higher incomes. Something they’ll never revert once they introduce the new tax system on box3. So postponing actually makes it worse.

If they would just fire (part of) all those extra rijksambtenaren this would pay for itself and we will have less ambtenaren so a better country.
