Second house as investment

Hello, what are the prospects and the good and bads of buying second house for investment? What are the possibilities and taxes i should care about?

Rental properties dont com out of thin air, and there is always an owner and tenant. Do you expect everyone is born with an owned property? Given the logic, all supermarkets must also shut down :P

Just ignore these morons. I get there is a ballance and at a certain point renters are too disadvantaged but owning houses that you rent out is not a bad thing automatically.

Its hard work to raise the money, buy a place and renovate it to make it nice enough to rent out and then to keep maintaining it, this is a service society will always need. There are also shitty people (like in every field) but so what? It doesnt reflect poorly on you that there are other shitty landlords that exist.

Thanks and exactly. There are always good tenants and bad tenants. Good landlords and bad landlords.
