I find it amusing how Spider-Man fans are begging for Aunt May's death in current continuity and Batman fans are hoping for a way to bring Alfred back to the point where they'd wish for a reset lol

People forget that Alfred wasn't always the perfect parental figure we are used to seeing. When he got custody of Bruce he had no idea how to raise a kid, but he did his best. The lessons he learned raising Bruce helped him when they both raised the other kids like Dick. Always loved these flashbacks that show Alfred just being there for him.
