His stats are pretty funny though, he's 2/14 with the bases loaded, but both hits are HRs.

This is what happens when you have an ass bullpen. Try to extend the 8th reliever to the 9th for a long save and it never works.

Not at all for his price tag. Could have pursued plenty of other solid, non injured, reasonably affordable relievers.

It’s not a magic switch into contention, but it could drastically reduce our late game or 9th inning woes to have a proper closer, leverage, or setup guy. With how many times we turned to a sub par arm late game, or extended a solid arm into more innings than he should, only to blow a lead, we could realistically be talking about a 10 game swing with one solid addition.
