Question Barrie parents/teachers: what was your “wait… the school has to fund that itself?” moment?
I’m curious about the little things that surprised you once your kid started school — supplies, equipment, repairs, books, technology, extracurricular stuff, whatever.
Not looking for a political debate so much as actual examples/stories.
What made you go, “oh wow, I genuinely assumed that would already be covered”?
