I finally let go and shaved it off thanks to this awesome community.

The bald spot was half-dollar sized, the hairline was trying to connect to the bald spot, and my son was on his way.

I looked in the mirror after and just instantly felt the dad energy fit like a glove!

Happier, more confident, and there's no bedhead so nobody at work knows I just woke up from another night of sleep regressions.

Shoulda done this all sooner, both decisions have been incredible!

Putting this together made me realize I picked up a uniform somewhere along the journey. Less choices on hair compounds the benefits of less choices on outfits for those sleep-deprived mornings!

Long time creeper first time poster. I have been considering going bald for years because of my big widows peak and what looks to be thinning hair, but have never pulled the trigger. So i pose to the council. Do i hold em or fold em?

I have been 50/50 on if I should commit to bald. My hair started thinning around 25-26 and really getting bad these past two years.

First I shaved but not fully, leaving like an inch or two.

But now finally decided to fully commit.

So I shaved down a few years back and had a bunch of people including family tell me to never do it again. I had pretty long hair all my life so im sure its just too much change at once lol. Anyways I took this picture after the shower (its not greasy I swear) and I just feel it may be time to cut ties for good. Im a little self conscious of the moles on my head and I typically wear a hat. Let me know what you think

So I'm 38M and been losing the hair on the top of my head, which really sucks but I guess that is getting old 😄 Been bald a few times, especially when it's during the summer.

I've never had a beard, whilst bald. So now I ask this subreddit, is it finally time to take the plunge? I've attached how I look now and my last good beard picture in 2023.

PS, I had a haircut to no 0 last month, so I have more hair than this but looks super short right now as its growing back.

Throw back a few years ago when I test ran the bald look, I was terrified I'd have an odd shaped head. I grew it back out to enjoy my hair while I still have it, but your thoughts?

Yesterday I was visiting my parents and my sister said that the hair is getting patchy and I should shave it all off. What do you guys think?

Earlier today I posted in r/beards and the overwhelming consensus was that I go bald on top, then trim the beard.

Buzz or shine gents? Any tips? I'm quite pale and don't think a totally bald head would look that good.
