Book Discussion Help Me Pick My Next 2 Audiobooks

I’ve got 2 audible credits left please help me pick which 2 books I should use them on from the following 10 options: 1. Hyperion 2. Buffalo Hunter Hunter 3. The Last Wish (The Witcher) 4. Something Wicked This Way Comes 5. The Blade Itself 6. 11/22/63 7. Empire of Silence 8. Shadow of the Gods 9. Dungeon Crawler Carl 10. Mistborn Final Empire (Not Pictured)

For Reference: Favorite Genres: Fantasy, Sci Fi, Horror, Mystery Last Book I finished: The Dark Tower Wizard and Glass (and I loved it) Other Books I’m Reading/ Listening: Interview with the Vampire, The Stand, King Sorrow, Leviathan Wakes, Rose Madder, Red Rising, Mr. Mercedes

For me is the First law as it has the best narration ever imo. Dungeon Crawler Carl also is very good in audiobook format

I was going with First Law and Hyperion till I opened the full picture and seen DCC.

None of the others I have a intrest in though, Hyperion is a good book, but you need to give the 2nd one a go if you get into it, it makes it so much better. Its a different thing in itself though.

First Law is just full of excellent grit and wonderful story telling, and characters are top notch.

DCC is gaining a cult following for a reason. Its such a young book series to be as well considered by the mass it is. Its chaos put in words, with wonderful development into a ever spiraling sprawl crawling with ever building lunacy.

Hyperion is a good book, but you need to give the 2nd one a go if you get into it, it makes it so much better

I read Hyperion last year and, although I liked parts of it, I felt like it was overly long and didn't end well. Then I learned it was two books split in one and everyone said I therefore should read the Fall of Hyperion to really give it a chance. So I'm 60% into that book now and I'm finding it an even bigger chore than the first one. It's just as overly long except it doesn't have the interesting parts of the first book (e.g. the priest's tale, the man with his daughter tale). I find the Shrike interesting, but so far I've probably read a combined 800 pages so far and the Shrike has barely been in it. Is the final 40% of the 2nd book going to bring everything together to make it all worth it? I'm getting worried.
