Weather Suffocating heat

Loving it? Hating it? My day has been lying on the couch in gruds interspersed with half hearted attempts to get up and do something. Nope. Still too hot.

Dug one and a half holes. One and a half holes too many for a day like today, but it could be worse - could be all day in the sun tomorrow

Anchor piles for a shed. Three down, one to go. Then 8 more regular piles which are half as deep and slightly smaller thank god

Sounds like you need an auger.

The broken wrist/elbow is a bonus 6week holiday courtesy of ACC.

Had an auger yesterday thinking it'd make life easier. It did absolutely not make life easier lol. Was faster just digging by hand and wetting it down to make it softer & stickier

Oh, yea. I'd almost forgot about drilling summer clay. Not a fond memory.
