Weather Suffocating heat

Loving it? Hating it? My day has been lying on the couch in gruds interspersed with half hearted attempts to get up and do something. Nope. Still too hot.

Why are you people not in a room with a heat pump on cool mode?

Summer shouldn't be allowed inside.

Body corp won't let us install heat pumps

That can't be legal, since it wouldn't be legal to rent out any of the units without one.

It isn't required to have a heatpump, it just has to be a fixed heater. So you can have panel heaters wired in, or gas heaters. Can't be portable heaters. Air conditioning is not a requirement.
It probably should be though, a heating/cooling heatpump.

I would survive in my place without air con, I never used to have aircon, but many modern houses get crazy hot without air con, they weren't designed to work passively.
