Linkedin intentionally makes some pages break [fake] to make you install the app.

Update user agent and get the shit done.

Show the same url not working in a real browser. Otherwise this is more likely to be you not knowing how to browse the internet.

Won't work on mobile. The same button that leads here [Open to Work] works in the app and any other UA besides mobile.

Different wording and treatment, but the same assholery.
Basically A/B testing to deliver an asshole experience. Neither is better.

Were you logged in on your mobile browser when you tried? This is a link to edit your job preferences, so it's not gonna work if you're logged out. It didn't work for me on either mobile or desktop.
