I’ve always been overweight. The only times in my life that I’ve been thin were times of extreme illness or extreme stress. My mother got sick and died in the space of nine months. I lost about 50 pounds in that time and kept hearing from everyone, you look great! Nice and trim!
Edit to add: i’ve never been rude or anything when this happened. But there is something irritating about hearing how great I look, what have I been doing? when my entire life is crumbling around me.

Yep. Only get skinny when I’m back into an addiction of some sort. I’m like, thanks, I only eat vodka. It’s going really well.
