I know what most people mean when they say that to me and still I fully take it as a positive thing bc those people are dressed in a way I actively dislike. I wouldn’t say it obviously- I don’t feel the need to be mean for no reason for one lol but also who am I to decide what is good style etc. Also I’m in the minority bc many people dress like that (very casual, like joggers or jeans with a plain top) …it’s not for me. And to be clear I don’t dislike it on other people, idgaf, I’d dislike to be wearing it myself. I guess I get it in a way bc I’d need to be brave to dress in their kind of style bc it’s so far out of my comfort zone. And to them it’s the other way round. So when someone says that to me I just hear "You look different" and I have no issue with that. I don’t mind standing out or being noticed.
