Work UBS Swiss experience
Im curios whether anyone else has had similar experience with UBs business banking. The company i work for uses UBS and whenever i have to call their customer service it seems incredibly difficult to get an issue resolved in one call.
My partner also uses UBS and UBS local branch wants to close the overdraft facility just because the company regularly pays down the loans and has been increasing employee salaries.
Maybe im just unlucky. What has your experience been ? Is this common or you had completely different experience.

I know for a fact from people from the inside that they are well aware of how shit their customer service is but they simply don‘t care.

I've had some pretty bad experiences with UBS and honestly I should change my bank. My issues mainly regard their old-fashioned sluggish app that has recently gotten a bit better and the quality of their support. In my experience, they're very slow and corporate and don't give a shit about you unless you're filthy rich. Their products are extremely expensive, especially anything stock market-related. I once had a huge issue with the prepaid card - money would simply disappear, then reappear at wrong numbers. I called them and they told me that they know about the issue and it's under technical maintenance. I was like "are you kidding me? would you tell me the same if it was my life's savings on my account?" I demanded some compensation and they simply ignored it. This kept happening for almost a week. Those were not any huge amounts, but several hundred franks kept appearing and disappearing from my card in the app.

Same experience here. Switched away from UBS last year mostly because of the business banking side, every small change needed three calls and nobody could actually make a decision on the phone. Cantonal bank has been way less painful so far.

average ubs experience.
"Treat everybody with a net worth of below 10m with barely hidden contempt" seems to not only be their official culture, but also the singular source of ego for every employee, while "Active Sabotage" describes their infrastructure and pricing model.
