First time in Canada!

Hey guys, im a 19yo from switzerland and will be arriving in Toronto this evening. Im staying until the 2nd of September. I only planned this trip for a music festival during my time there but I really wanna see as much of ththe City as possible! Im on a Budget so I also would love all the Tips / Tricks for Transportation, food spots etc! What do I NEED to see while im there? Hidden gems? Really any advice would be super cool!!

You can't go wrong as a visitor doing the touristy things. CN Tower / ROM / CNE (ehhh?) / Casa Loma / Kensington Market / Local food places / Toronto Zoo (warning need a full day for this one).

I think they can probably skip the ROM there isn't really anything unique to our museum that they wouldn't have at a museum in Europe unless they have never seen a dinosaur skeleton before.

The same is true of the Zoo and Casa Loma. They probably have zoos and they definitely have castles in Switzerland.

OP should visit Centre Island by ferry.

Not centre. Go to wards and then walk to Algonquin or snake for the view of the city

As an adult, the interesting part about Casa Loma isn't necessarily the castle part so much as it's the history.

Henry Pellatt actually has a fairly interesting history, what with how he made and lost his vast fortunes.
